CashDro Cash Management System

CashDro offers cash handling machines that automate change dispensing without requiring intervention from the cashier. This provides security guarantees by reducing cash handling and detecting counterfeit notes.

Communication between your account and your cash machine is carried out via your local network.

In the 'Apps' section of your account, install the CashDro application.


1/ Port forwarding configuration on your network

Port forwarding consists of opening a port on your network through which we can communicate with the cash machine.
You must have a router (internet box) that supports IPv4 port forwarding (available on most routers or upon request from your internet service provider).

Log in to your router/box administration interface. Set a fixed IP address for the cash machine in the DHCP settings so that it always keeps the same IP address.

Refer to your router/box manual to access the section where you can configure port forwarding (sometimes called NAT/PAT).
The forwarding protocol is TCP.
The external port is 9180 (this is an example; you can choose any available external port).
The internal/destination port is the machine’s HTTPS port: 443.
The destination IP is the cash machine’s IP address.
For security reasons, it is recommended to restrict incoming/external IP addresses to our public server IP address only: 51.210.219.145.


2/ CashDro application configuration

In the CashDro application on your account, create the different possible communication rules.
A separate rule must be configured for each user, including the ability to assign a different cash machine to each cashier.

IP address: this is your network’s external IP address. Leave it blank so that the system automatically uses the POS user’s IP address.
CashDro user: administrator or POS account authorized on the CashDro device (e.g. admin).
CashDro pass: password of the CashDro user.
User: user of your account who will be allowed to trigger communication with the cash machine.
Payment method: payment method that triggers the cash machine (typically CASH).
Close sale: automatic validation (YES) of the sale when the cash machine confirms the payment.

Advice:
– Do not use general CashDro admin credentials; instead, create a dedicated POS user on your cash machine to handle this communication.
– If you use the CashDro administrator account, change the default password.


At the payment step of a sale, when you click the payment method configured in the communication rule, your CashDro cash machine will automatically receive the payment instructions.
