For direct printing, you need to use a label printer compatible in ZPL or TSPL.
1/ Install your printer on your device following the same procedure as for a receipt printer.
Please consult the guides based on your operating system:
– Windows
– Mac
– Linux
– Android
– iOS
2/ In 'Settings/General Settings/Printers & receipts' enter in the 'Label Printer' field:
– default, if you are using a local printer (USB, serial, Bluetooth),
– the printer's IP address followed by :9100 (eg : 192.168.1.35:9100), if you are using a network printer (Ethernet, Wifi),
– the printing port, if you are using a port redirection.
3/ In 'Settings/Printing/Labels' choose your label model based on the printing language supported by your printer.
You can customize the label format and content by following these guides: ZPL labels or TSPL labels.
To test printing, go to any product form and click on the 'Print Label' button.
It is possible to print multiple labels for the same item in the 'Variants and Barcodes' section of the product form.
In each stock orders, you can print labels for the received products.
If no label prints, check the print status in 'Settings/Printing/Printing Tests.'
If the label content is not printed correctly (misalignment of printed content, printing across multiple labels, etc.), calibrate your printer and check that the printer driver does not encode a different label format.
Please refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions.
