A webstore built in your account enables your customers to order online your products or services.
To activate and configure your online store, go to 'Settings/Website'.
To publish your webstore, select one the themes available.
Three themes can be selected :
– /Shop is a standard webstore with product pages and a complete checkout process (customer accounts).
– /Food is a one-page webstore with a fast checkout process suitable for a restaurant.
– /Myshop is a standard webstore with product pages and a fast checkout process (no customer account).
By default, the stock displayed on your website is your main store inventory (ID 1). It is possible to select another store inventory in a multi-stores account.
Products are sorted on your webstore with the same classification as in your POS account.
You can select the products you want to display online. More information.
On the Shop theme, only products in stock and online are displayed on your webstore.
On the Food and Myshop themes, all online products are displayed even if the product is out of stock. A product out of stock cannot be added to the cart.
Your shop information and social links are displayed in the header and footer of your online store.
The API user is the user assigned to your online sales on your account. Order confirmation emails will be sent from this user email.
The point of sale is the shop on which online sales are registered.
By default, your webstore logo is the one saved in 'Settings/Printing/Logo'.
For the food theme, you must upload a jpg logo in 240x240 px.
You can also add a jpg image in 1400x470 px for the homepage image on the Shop theme or the header image on the Food theme. Other image formats are not accepted.
In the 'Misc' section, you can configure with html code a custom homepage on the Myshop theme.
In the payment section, you can activate the payment methods accepted on your webstore.
You can select different payment methods for shipped orders or pick-up orders.
You can link each payment method to a payment type on your account (otherwise the default payment type of your account will be assigned to your online sales).
Online card payments are managed by the Stripe secured payment solution.
To create and link your Stripe account, please follow these instructions.
You cannot add another card payment solution to your online store.
For money transfer and on delivery payments you can add a free content like your bank account information or any useful data.
You can also add a specific content ('Payment information' field) to inform your customers about your payment policy, that will be displayed on the homepage, in the footer or on the Payment page depending on the selected theme.
Shipping method is enabled on your webstore if at least one payment method is activated for shipping delivery.
If your customer select the shipping method, he will be prompted to enter a delivery address.
On the Food theme, he will also need to select a date and time for the delivery.
Shipping fee is a fix rate.
First, create a Shipping product in the Products tab on your account.
Then in 'Settings/Website', enter the shipping amount (without the currency) and select the Shipping product you just created (or enter the product ID). Shipping fees will be assigned to your Shipping product ID when the online sale is synced into your account.
On quotation, we can develop a customize script to calculate shipping fee from various criteria (free shipment for a cart amount, variable fee depending on the weight, the postal code or the country...).
You can also add a specific content ('Shipping information' field) to inform your customers about your shipping policy, that will be displayed on the homepage, in the footer or on the Shipping page depending on the selected theme.
With the 'Country' drop-down menu, you can select countries to which you allow shipment (multi-select with the Ctrl key).
For the Food theme, you can also set:
– the number of coming days to display,
– the preparation time required before dispatching an order (available time slots will take it into account),
– the length of a time slot (ex: 30 for 30 minutes),
– and the maximum number of orders accepted by time slot. If this level is reached the time slot will not be available.
Opening hours must be configured in 'Settings/Opening hours'.
Pick up method is enabled on your webstore if at least one payment method is activated for Pick up delivery.
If your customer select the pick up method, he will need to select a date and time to collect the order.
You must set up your opening hours to pick up an order in 'Settings/Opening hours'.
For each day of the week, add your opening periods.
You can also add the dates your store is closed (holidays…). Pick up will not be possible for these dates.
You can add a specific content ('Pick up information' field) to inform your customers about your pick up policy, that will be displayed on the homepage, in the footer or on the Pick-up page depending on the selected theme.
You can also configure:
– the number of coming days to display,
– the preparation time required before collecting an order (available time slots will take it into account),
– the length of a time slot (ex: 30 for 30 minutes),
– and the maximum number of orders accepted by time slot. If this level is reached the time slot will not be available.
For multi-stores accounts, the customer select on which store to pick up the order.
Only products available on the selected store can be added to the cart.
Pick-up orders are registered automatically into the selected store back-office.
With a CSS code (Misc section) you can hide some stores on your website.
In the 'Content' section, several fields are available:
– Checkout Conditions: precise your sale conditions (compulsory for a webstore).
– Shipping & info: inform your customers on your shipment, product return and exchange policies.
– About us: introduce your company and your business.
– Privacy: detail your privacy policy and how you ensure the protection of your customer data (GDPR).
In the footer of your online store, you will find links to reach these pages.
If a field is empty, the related page link will not be activated on your webstore.
You can format the content with markdown code.
You can also customize the design of your online store with CSS code ('Misc' section).
